Resin floors for Saratoga homes.
Most of the garages we coat around Saratoga were poured with the house and never touched since.
We run out to Saratoga from the shop in Goldsboro, about 35 minutes out. Saratoga is in Wilson County, and we cover the towns around it too, including Wilson, Black Creek, Lucama, Stantonsburg.
Concrete is porous. It drinks oil, it dusts under tires, and once a stain is in there it stays. A resin floor closes the slab off for good.
Beto came to epoxy from land clearing and excavation, and it shows in how much of every job goes into the slab itself. Each floor gets a diamond grind down to open concrete, the cracks get chased and filled, and then the pour and topcoat go on. He owns the grinding equipment so that step never gets cut short.
Why slabs around here fail early.
Most of the failures we get called out to look at were not caused by the resin. They were caused by what the slab was doing before anyone coated it. Sandy subgrade shifts with the seasons, hairline cracks open, and a coating laid straight over them telegraphs every one of those lines back to the surface within a year.
The fix is unglamorous. Cracks get chased out into a V and filled with a rigid repair resin, pits get patched and re-ground flat, and control joints get treated so they can still move without splitting the finish above them. None of that photographs well and all of it is why a floor is still holding in ten years.
A metallic floor poured in a hot Saratoga garage does not give you the same working time as one poured in cool weather. Resin cures by chemical reaction, and heat speeds it up. We check the slab temperature and plan the pour around it.
What we pour in Saratoga

Which rooms we end up in.
A finished garage tends to get people thinking about the rest of the house. The laundry room is a common next call. So are sunrooms and basement steps, anywhere a hard, cleanable floor makes sense.
The metallic work that people notice on our floors goes on countertops too. Beto pours it right over the existing counters in your Saratoga kitchen, so the cabinets stay and nobody cooks on plywood for a week while stone gets cut. Read what a countertop job involves for the details.
Timing a pour around the weather.
The busy stretch runs from about March through June and then again in September and October. If you want a specific week, calling a month out is the difference between getting it and waiting.
What moves the price.
Price tracks the prep, not the resin. The material cost between a simple flake floor and a showpiece metallic pour is real but modest; the hours in the grind and the repair are what change the total.
So we come look at the floor in person. You get a firm number on the day of the visit, and it does not creep up once the grinders are running. If you would rather check the range first, photos of the slab are enough for a rough yes or no.
How the two days run.
Day one is prep. Grinders and dust extraction come off the trailer and the slab gets taken down to clean concrete, then the cracks and pits that the grind exposes get chased out and filled. It is loud and it is dusty, and it is most of the labor in the job. Day two is the pour and the topcoat, which is the fast half.
The one thing we will push back on is driving onto the floor too soon. It can take foot traffic the morning after, but a vehicle needs day three or four, depending on the warmth, or it leaves marks in a finish that is still curing. On the first morning we also need the room cleared, because the whole slab gets ground.
Who actually pours it.
Every floor Alpha Resin puts down gets poured by the owner. There is no crew that shows up instead of the person you talked to.
Insured and bonded, 5 years of pours, and a phone the owner answers. See the gallery, read about the rest of Wilson County, or send photos of the slab.
If you are on the edge of town or just outside it, call and ask rather than assuming. Town lines and county lines rarely match how far a trailer actually has to drive, and the answer is usually yes. Alpha Resin covers 10 counties out of Goldsboro, and Saratoga sits well inside that.
Questions from Saratoga customers
How long will it last?
A properly prepped residential floor is a ten to fifteen year surface. The ones that fail early almost always failed at prep, not at the resin.
Do you move what is in the room?
No, and it is the one thing we ask of you. The space has to be completely empty the morning we start because we grind the whole slab rather than working around things. Doing it the weekend before is easier than doing it that morning.
What happens if it rains that week?
Interior work carries on. Outdoor work moves, because resin curing under rain or heavy dew is ruined resin. We would rather shift a date than pour into a forecast we do not like.
Can you match a color I have seen?
Close, and usually closer than people expect. Bring a photo. Metallic pigment moves on its own while it cures, so the floor reads as that look rather than copying it exactly.
How much dust does the grinding make?
Less than people picture. The grinder runs into a dust extractor at the tool, so it is captured where it is made. It is not zero, and we sheet off doorways, but it does not fill the house.
Got a slab in Saratoga?
A couple of pictures and a rough size is all it takes to start. We will tell you what the slab needs.
Look at real floors in the gallery, then call. Beto Ponce answers, and he is the one who would do the work.
