Most of the garages we coat around Raleigh were poured with the house and never touched since.
We run out to Raleigh from the shop in Goldsboro, about an hour out. Raleigh is in Wake County, and we cover the towns around it too, including Garner, Knightdale, Wendell, Zebulon.
Concrete is porous. It drinks oil, it dusts under tires, and once a stain is in there it stays. A resin floor closes the slab off for good.
The sequence is the same on every floor. Diamond grind the slab down to clean, open concrete. Chase and fill the cracks the grind exposes. Pour, then topcoat. The grind is the part that decides whether the floor is still holding in ten years, which is why we own the equipment rather than renting it by the day.
Why slabs around here fail early.
People who call us about a floor that failed usually assume the coating was bad. Most of the time it was fine. What failed was the prep: the slab was already moving on its sandy base and opening hairline cracks, and nobody dealt with them before the coating went down, so within a year those lines came right through.
Repair work is most of what separates a floor that lasts from one that cracks through. We chase each crack into a V and fill it with a rigid repair resin, patch the pits and grind them level, and treat the control joints so they can keep moving under the finish. None of it is visible once the coating is down.
Heat matters as much as the ground does. Resin cures by chemical reaction, and a hot Raleigh garage in July shortens the working window enough to change how a metallic pour is handled. We schedule around the slab temperature rather than the calendar.

The busy stretch runs from about March through June and then again in September and October. If you want a specific week, calling a month out is the difference between getting it and waiting.
What moves the price.
Price tracks the prep, not the resin. The material cost between a simple flake floor and a showpiece metallic pour is real but modest; the hours in the grind and the repair are what change the total.
Photos are a good place to start. Send a couple along with the rough size, and we can tell you whether your project lands in the range you have in mind before anybody makes a trip. After that we come out, walk the slab, and give you a number that same day. It stays put once we begin.
How the two days run.
If you split the job by hours, day one gets most of them. That is the grinding: diamond tooling and dust extraction take the slab down to clean concrete, and whatever cracks and pits show up underneath get chased out and filled the same day. Day two is quick by comparison. The resin goes down, then the topcoat goes over it.
Your part of the job is small. Have the space emptied out before we arrive on the first morning, since we grind every square foot of the slab. Then stay off it until the next morning, when walking on it is fine, and keep the vehicles out until day three or four. Cooler weather pushes that toward four.

Can you match a color I have seen?
Close, and usually closer than people expect. Bring a photo. Metallic pigment moves on its own while it cures, so the floor reads as that look rather than copying it exactly.
How much dust does the grinding make?
Less than people picture. The grinder runs into a dust extractor at the tool, so it is captured where it is made. It is not zero, and we sheet off doorways, but it does not fill the house.
Do you take on small jobs?
Yes. A single-bay garage, a laundry room, a set of counters. Small work is a good share of the schedule and it is how most people try us before a bigger job.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, and it is worth reading rather than framing. Ask when we quote and we will tell you plainly what it covers and what it does not.
How far out are you booking?
It moves with the season. Spring and fall fill first. Call and we will tell you honestly where you would land rather than telling you what you want to hear.
